“My name is Chloé, and behind Voilà Coco is my colorful, retro universe. As a child, I loved creating, even if I clearly wasn’t the best drawer in my family, ironic, right?
Everything started around the age of 13, fascinated by portraits. Between YouTube tutorials, oil painting, and reproducing famous artworks, I learned to observe, copy… and reinvent. In high school, I even got the chance to teach the basics to younger students, my first taste of art direction, ahead of time.
It was during my studies in Art Direction and Graphic Design that my style truly emerged. With my iPad and Illustrator, I began creating colorful portraits, slipping in fashion and retro references, and daring with bold, eye-catching palettes, all with a subtle funky ’70s touch.
Since my first professional collaboration (Spiritueuses) I’ve refined my method and creative approach. Today, I offer brands and media the chance to bring my illustrations to life in strong, recognizable universes, whether for editorial projects, products, or visual installations.
My approach remains structured: client brief, moodboard, collages or sketches to validate the universe and art direction, followed by creation and adjustments. Each project is designed to capture moods and emotions, not just moments.”
